Plague Inc: Game of the Gods is the newest smartphone application from Zynga, the company that makes FarmVille and Mafia Wars. If you are anything like me, you probably feel that the games that are available on Facebook are too tame and simple. With Plague Inc, you get a real simulation game where you need to save the world from an imminent plague outbreak while making a name for yourself as the smartest and most successful entrepreneur in the world.
Plague Inc is actually a very fun and exciting game that will challenge your mind in many ways. It uses a very neat interface and you will spend a lot of time just trying to figure out how to stop the pathogen from spreading across the globe. Android users can download the free trial version and I am pretty sure that once it is available in the market, there will be no turning back.
Players can build their own farm to produce food and get resources by plowing and harvesting crops. Plagues can also occur that will turn people into zombies and then kill them. The player must also keep track of the history of each family to learn about each family's character and how they acted when faced with a similar situation in the past. I have been very impressed with the way Plague Inc plays out and am looking forward to downloading the free demo and playing through the entire game.
